Personal Resources
I have included a gallery of textbooks that have helped develop my professional knowledge. These books have guided me in my decision making during my pre-service training and will continue to guide me throughout my professional career.

Twitter is a great way to stay connected to current research and ideas in the classroom. My twitter account was used as a micro-blog about information we were learning throughout the courses at Tarleton. Below is my twitter feed and a link follow me!
Pinterest is a great way to find different types of lessons for different content areas. Below is a board I created with visual and kinesthetic activities.
Personal Research
During my Children's Literature class, I was given the opportunity to research ways to use children's books to talk to young students about difficult topics. This topic was suppose to be something meaningful to us and something many students struggle with. Since my degree is all level special education my topic was finding ways to incorporate children's literature into the classroom to teach about accepting and understanding disabilities.
